Why Convert Text to Uppercase?

It is maybe less commonly used than converting to lowercase. But converting text to uppercase can be useful for various reasons:

• Improving readability in titles or headings.
• Ensuring consistency in data entry or formatting.
• Highlighting important information or keywords.

Presenting uppercase in a whole piece of text could be considered bad internet etiquette because it is considered as text that is being "yelled".

Uses of Uppercase

Using uppercase in some portions of a text can be really useful at highlighting an idea, in a stronger way that it could be done with boldface or underlines.

And sometimes, when you need to represent something that needs to be shouted, for example in the book when one character raises his voice, uppercasing the phrase would do the job.
